I've been away for too long, and yes indeed, I'm back with a truck load of interesting updates, so much that I can't fit them all in one post...
So first, I took a break from everything work and job search-related on Thursday last week, and visited a bath-house, it was my first time, and it was absolutely refreshing. It'd been a while a found myself in a room full of women all half dressed or some undressed. I went to a boarding school, and even at the university, this was the regular thing every morning in the communal bathroom. However, it somehow felt awkward, and I was a little uncomfortable with the feeling that others could see me in a sort of "vulnerable" state. I quickly got over it when I changed into my one-piece and went down to the bath area, looking hawt!
Like I said I had never been at a bath-house before, so I had no idea where to start from. The warm pool, or the cold pool, the steam or sauna bath? I tried out the 94º pool first, and then the 104º pool next. The craziest one, the 54º pool took me all of 5 secs to jump right out of it 😅, it was too cold!!! Next stop was the steam bath which eventually got too hot, so I didn't stay too long in there.
I went next to take care of my stomach... yes what's fun without some delicious food? I had some smoked salmon with some kind of soup(I can't remember the name), some smashed potatoes (not mashed), and then some ice cream for dessert. Everything tasted good, surprisingly. Surprisingly because I had never tried any of them before, and the salmon looked raw and I am definitely not a sushi lover, so I was scared to try it. In the end, I cleaned out the plates (well, mostly because the portions were so tiny anyway, lol).
I tried the sauna last and when I came out, it felt like I had been on a treadmill the whole day. I was super exhausted at the end but I had no idea such seemingly easy and uninteresting activity like that could be so refreshing and so much fun. My body felt lighter and it was great not to have to think about anything data for a few hours...
Dear diary, I have a lot more updates, and it's wild! Stay with me... XOXO
