Brighter Day!

I think I can say today ended on a good note. I wasn't able to do all that I wanted to do, but I went far enough. I was quite pre-occupied with giving my portfolio website some nice touches, and I got carried away not checking the time. Obviously, I didn't even pay too much attention to LinkedIn today, and so I wasn't able to apply to as many jobs as I should. That's okay still. Smoothening out my website is all part of the job search process anyway, so like I said in the opening, it was a good day overall.
I started watching Alex the Analyst videos on YouTube today, which I had been procrastinating for a very long time. I was able to cover only the first 3 videos, and I am glad I started. I am familiar with SQL using PostgreSQL and MySQL. Now with Alex, I can get familiar with Microsoft SQL. I learned or let me say I revised the queries for creating a table, selecting from a table, count, distinct, min, max and average. For tomorrow, I hope I can cover as much as 5 videos of Alex's tutorials.
I totally did not touch my virtual internship project today. I am working on a churn data, and I am supposed to define proper KPIs, create a dashboard, and summarize the story for the Customers Retention Manager. I started work on it a few days back, but got caught up with building my portfolio website, yes this same one. Another issue was, I forgot to save my work, and lost half of the project because my computer restarted for some upgrade of sorts. Thankfully, I have it all done on Tableau, but the Power BI version is a bit of a challenge. I'm going to try and work on this tomorrow.
Dear Diary/Blog, thank you for being this channel to talk to for me. I'll talk to you tomorrow. XOXO!
